Students must take the Biology 203 and 204 sequence with the specialized veterinary animal laboratory section.


Program Admission Prerequisites:
** BIO 101 – General Biology I or Bio 104 or equivalent
** CHEM 101 – Fundamentals of Chemistry
**MATH 099 – Elementary Algebra or equivalent
**Must be college level courses


Other requirements:  1. Interview with a full-time veterinary technology program faculty member; 2. Physical exam and rabies certificate are required for 150+ level courses.  It is recommended that applicants experience 20 hours or more of experience at a veterinary practice.  Students must maintain a "C" (2.0) grade or higher in Veterinary Technology courses.
