Part-Time Clinical Nursing Staff


Part-time evening / weekend positions are expected. Up to 19 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in nursing, current CT R.N. license. College teaching experience and/or related work experience preferred.

Compensation: $ 66.95 / hour


Non-Credit ESL Certified Instructors


Degree requirements for the above, hours per week and salary vary depending on the requirements of the position.


Part-Time Adjunct Lecturers


We are expanding our adjunct applicant pool in anticipation of potential position openings in the Spring 2013 semester. On-line and On-Ground part time day, evening and weekend instructors may be needed to teach credit courses in the following disciplines:

Biology, Chemistry, English, Veterinary Technology, Computer Science,
Early Childhood Education, Graphic Arts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal faculty candidate holds a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline or closely related field and one or more years of successful college-level teaching experience. Experience working with online delivery methods such as Blackboard, familiarity with the integration of educational technology into curriculum, overall computer literacy and awareness of current issues and pedagogical practices that have an impact on the discipline are preferred. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications as stated are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of the position and by providing appropriate references. Exceptions to the degree requirements may be made for compelling reasons.

Compensation: $ 1,337 to $ 1,447 per credit hour


Part-Time Nurse Aide Instructor


Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse needed for per diem classroom and clinical instruction in our nurse aide training program. A minimum one year of recent experience working in a long term care facility required. Experience supervising and/or teaching nursing assistants preferred. These are temporary 6-13 week assignments, day or evening shifts and include some Saturdays.


Part-Time Educational Assistants


Interpreters for the Deaf; Guest Lecturers in various disciplines; ESL & GED certified Instructors; Tutors.


Non-Credit Instructors


Instructors for non-credit programs in areas such as business, computer science, MS Office, engineering, manufacturing, green technologies, blueprint reading, CNC, shop math, measurement, GD & T, ToolingU, management, team building, allied health, phlebotomy, workplace communications and ethics.
